Lucie is a French photographer and art director based in Sydney.

She was originally trained at the Paris School of Graphic Arts, where she developed a multidisciplinary foundation in photography, painting, typography and life drawing. Her visual language is informed by an early interest in sculpture, resulting in images characterised by careful composition, spatial awareness and a quiet sense of stillness.

Through photography, Lucie examines ordinary objects and overlooked moments, holding them in view long enough for their familiarity to dissolve. Her images occupy a space between observation and imagination, where fixed meanings soften and the everyday takes on an unfamiliar yet intimate quality.

At the centre of her practice is a search for clarity and self-understanding. Through sustained observation, she uses photography to explore what remains when context falls away, guided by the belief that there is always more to discover in what is already in front of us.
